About Yoga Tour In Nepal with Ghanshyam

"Practice yoga in Nepal and learn about the fundamentals of traditional yoga on our 8 days yoga tour in Nepal. Unwind and rejuvenate while practicing yoga, visiting historical sites, hiking in the Himalayas, and enjoying panoramic mountain views."

We have designed our 8 days yoga tour in Nepal for beginner yoga practitioners. The yoga tour is easy, so it's perfect for people of all ages. If you are someone with experience in yoga, then you can also join our yoga tour package. The trip will only become easy going for you. Our combination of yoga and a tour of historical sites in the two biggest cities of Nepal makes this package very unique and intriguing.

Yoga and Nepal have an ancient connection. Many internationally renowned yogis and sages have practiced yoga in different parts of Nepal (including the Himalayas) for hundreds of years. This yoga tour will not only give you a profound understanding of the fundamentals of yoga but also introduce you to Nepali art, architecture, culture & history. You learn a lot about traditional yoga. Every day begins and ends with practicing yoga.

During the day, we visit historical sites in Kathmandu and Pokhara. In Kathmandu, we'll visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Patan Durbar Square, Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Swaymabhunath, etc. Likewise, in Pokhara, you'll explore World Peace Pagoda, Davis Falls, Mahendra Cave, Phewa Lake, and the Lakeside Market. Before leaving Pokhara, you'll go on a short hike to Dhampus village. At 1,650 meters, it is a beautiful village with breathtaking mountain scenery.

We don't want you to miss walking on the remote forested path through villages. In short, we don't want you to miss the taste of trekking/hiking if you are in Nepal. And adding this short hike to Dhampus allows us to connect you to the mountains without making the trip any difficult. The trail is soothing and has refreshing air that will enhance our yoga practice. Some of the snow-capped mountains you see from Dhapus are Mt. Annapurna I (8,091 m), Annapurna II (7,937 m), Annapurna South (7,219 m), Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Mt. Hiunchuli (6,441 m), Mt. Fishtail (6,993 m), Lamjung Himal (6,983 m), etc.

Yoga tour difficulty

We have marked our 8 days yoga tour difficulty level. For complete novice participants, the journey can get a bit tough, and that's because of the yoga part itself. You'll be practicing different forms of yoga, so the session may get physically challenging unless you have a strong interest in yoga.

Our internationally certified yoga instructor will accompany you during the tour and arrange all the yoga sessions. Hence, you'll learn a lot about yoga and mediation while practicing & getting guided by a professional yogi. So, if you are looking for intermediate to advanced yoga experience, you can join our yoga tour package in Nepal.

Useful Information

Why did we design this trip?

We have designed this special 8 days yoga tour in Nepal to connect people from around the world to Nepalese & Nepali culture. We find yoga one of the best ways to bridge the gap between Nepalese culture and foreigners. On top of that, you'll have a safe and memorable journey with us. Even in a new country, you'll find yourself coming back to a home that never existed. We have very high standards when it comes to serving our guests, which set us and our trek/tour services in Nepal apart from other travel companies.

We have designed this yoga tour package because of the following reasons:

Yoga and Nepal are connected profoundly. The great safe Patanjali, who wrote Yoga Sutra, is believed to be born in Nepal. And the great Himalayan range has been the practice place for numerous rishis. So, it'll be only fair if we share these deep ties with the world too.

Yoga promotes health and wellbeing. So does traveling in nature and getting connected with the historical sites. You get to release all the toxicity from your mind and soul. We have made this package combining yoga, tour, and hiking. You'll enjoy all the essence of being in Nepal.

We strive to offer a world-class experience to our guests. We want our guests not just to see and have fun but also connect and understand the locals. Nepalese are very friendly and welcoming people. They may be shy at first but never get back to help. With this yoga tour in Nepal, we aim to provide you with a deeper understanding of locals, the Himalayan mountains, and of course, practicing yoga.

What is our mission with a yoga tour in Nepal?

We strive for 100% customer satisfaction. We believe a traveler's satisfaction comes from the feeling of being welcomed in the land being visited. Being accepted or included in the land and the community gives oneness to the traveler. This acceptance is NOT the outcome of revenue paid for travel packages, but a genuine union between travelers and the locals brought about by the practice of Yoga.

We also strive for creating a better space for our travelers to discover. How traditional Nepali used to live in harmony with nature is visible in everyday life on the street. Our guide will pinpoint all the details during the tour that you might have missed if traveling alone. We take our time to participate in conversations with locals and learn about their values.

Best time to do a yoga trek in Nepal

Like any other trip, the best time to do a yoga tour in Nepal is for sure spring (March to April) and autumn (October to November). However, it is an easy trip with a daily tour and a quick hike to Dhampus village, which can be done throughout the year. So, you can also do our yoga tour in summer/monsoon & winter.

The experience will be equally rewarding in every season and come with its own essence. Make sure to pack and prepare for the trip as per the seasons you are visiting Nepal for a yoga tour. Our team will help you with the preparation. Feel free to ask them any questions at the time of booking.

Accommodation & Meals

You stay overnight in comfortable hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara. The hotel rooms will be spacious and will have all the modern amenities along with a private washroom, 24 hours hot water supply, WiFi, AC, etc. In Dhampus, you spend the night in a basic nice hotel. The accommodation is booked as per the itinerary, so if you are planning to stay more, then let us know in advance. You have to bear the expense of hotel accommodation out of the itinerary.

For Meals, you'll have a huge range of multi-cuisine options to choose from. Likewise, clean drinking water is available everywhere. We provide three meals a day (breakfast, lunch & dinner) at the time of the tour with a welcome & farewell dinner in Kathmandu. We do recommend you try Nepali cuisine. For instance, dal bhat is an amazing heavy meal option, and momo with Nepali achar makes an excellent snack item.
