Nagarjun hill Hiking is one of the short and single day tours to explore the nature and sightseeing around the Kathmandu valley with splendid mountains views towards the north part. It is situated at the North-west part of the Kathmandu valley with an altitude of 2,128m at top of Nagarjun hill.
It is also explained in literature as Vindya Mountain 45 minutes by vehicle and two and half hours hike up to the Nagarjun hill which is known as historical Jamacho Peak (6,300ft) so that this mountain is named as Nagarjun hill because of its cave residence if found there. Where he used to perform meditation, also Nagarjun hill hiking is popular for Nagarjuna cave such as cave of Buddha & Mahasiddhas. Nagarjun consists of one of the most popular Buddhist stupa and this roads leads to the western side of the city along Rainban(Queen Forest) towards Stupa.
